That fear you feel? It’s because you care deeply, and your silence is what the system taught you.
If you’ve been quiet lately. If you haven’t posted, or emailed, or said that thing you felt rising in your chest.
It’s not because you don’t care… It’s because you do!
You care about what’s happening in Gaza and Congo.
You care about the genocide of Palestinians, the ethnic cleansing driven by white supremacy, the transphobic violence, the racist police brutality, the Aboriginal deaths in custody right here on this land, like the recent death of a young Aboriginal man in the Northern Territory.
You care so much it aches.
And the silence? That’s not apathy.
It’s fear.
Fear of saying it wrong.
Fear of being misunderstood.
Fear of accidentally centring yourself.
Fear of backlash.
And that fear you feel? It’s because you care deeply, and your silence is what the system taught you. It’s a system that keeps ethical people silent and injustice ongoing.
And so you stay in the 1-to-1 spaces.
You have deep conversations in DMs, or at your kitchen table, or inside a trusted group.
But when it comes to your business and speaking on a 1-to-many scale…you freeze.
This post is for you.
You care deeply.
And the weight of that care is what holds you back sometimes.
You’re not stuck because you’re indifferent.
You’re holding a lot of grief, rage, guilt, and fear, while also trying to keep your business going with integrity.
You’ve likely thought:
- “How can I show up and sell when genocide is happening?”
- “What if I get it wrong and hurt someone?”
- “I don’t want to be performative.”
- “I’m scared of being attacked, misunderstood, or trolled.”
- “I don’t want to centre myself.”
These aren’t the thoughts of someone who doesn’t care.
They’re the thoughts of someone who is trying to move through the world with care, intention, and justice.
And yes, that’s a lot to hold alone!
You weren’t taught how to navigate this.
Not in school.
Not in business courses.
Not even in most coaching spaces.
But you can learn.
And you don’t have to do it alone.
It may feel isolating, but you are not alone.
Every single business owner I speak to in the Inclusion Creators Collective is navigating this same terrain:
- Wanting to speak up about injustice, but unsure how to do it well
- Wishing to act, but afraid of what might happen
- Wanting to be impactful, but unsure what will really land
This isn’t a personal failure.
It’s a sign that the world you’re living in doesn’t give you the tools you need, especially as someone trying to run a values-led business rooted in ethics and justice.
But you? You’re not okay with doing business as usual.
You want to build a business that speaks up, stands firm, and contributes to change.
You want your values to shape your content, your offers, your marketing, your whole business ecosystem.
That’s not too much to ask.
It’s a vision worth building.
What if your business could be a place where…
…you speak about social justice with your whole chest — and it feels like truth, not terror?
…your clients and community know exactly what you stand for, and trust you more because of it?
…your values are baked into every layer of your business, and people feel it?
…your voice creates ripples. Not just sales, but solidarity and social change?
What if speaking your truth didn’t cost you clients, but called the right ones in?
That business you crave? It’s possible.
And you don’t have to figure it out alone.
You were never meant to learn this on your own.
No school, no coaching certification, no business program teaches us how to respond to genocide while launching.
Or how to hold space for victims of injustice publicly while still showing up for clients.
Or how to speak out against injustice while keeping our nervous system regulated and ourselves safe.
That’s why we need spaces that do.
That’s why I created the Inclusion Creators Collective.
The ICC is where your values meet your voice, and your business becomes a force for good.
It’s a collective of heart-led entrepreneurs who care about inclusion, equity, justice, and legacy.
Not as a trend. Not as a marketing hook. But as the foundation of how we show up.
Inside the ICC, you’ll:
- Learn how to speak up in ways that are impactful and socially responsible
- Unpack fears and internalised pressure without shame or judgment
- Build justice-aligned strategies that are sustainable and authentic
- Be held in community by others who care just as deeply, as you do.
ICC members move from:
- Fear to clarity
- Silence to aligned action
- Isolation to collective courage
You don’t have to be loud.
You just have to be real.
And you don’t have to do it perfectly — just on purpose.
If your silence has been weighing on you…
Not because you don’t care, but because you do.
If you want your business to be a place of integrity, clarity, and impact.
And if you’re tired of navigating this alone, I invite you to:
✨ Book a clarity call to explore if the ICC is right for you. (Click here to book a Clarity Call)
✨ Or DM me on Instagram HERE and share what’s been sitting heavy on your heart.
You belong here.
Your voice matters.
And together, we can grow your business in alignment with your values. So when you see injustice, you’ll speak truth, hold steady, and ripple positive change where it matters.
If you think other business owners would benefit from this blog, please feel free to share it.
