Why Choosing Alignment Over Hustle Brings Ease in Your Life.

The word “Hustle” has NEVER sat well with me. I often wonder how much more enjoyable and fulfilling people’s lives would be if they were more focused on an aligned life rather than one of hustling.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for a bit of hard work and persistence when required but the thought of having to hustle your way through life sounds exhausting and full of struggle.

I don’t know about you but that just ain’t a life for me!

Choosing to live an authentically aligned life rather than one of hustling to make ends meet or achieve your goal, seems like a much more pleasant way to go. With alignment you’re going with the flow. You’re in a flow state and you manifest a life you want to live that’s in alignment with who you really are.

Any one who has had any type of success in their life knows the power of the mind and it’s ability to create our world, our experiences and our opportunities. This is the Law of Attraction and they are the masters of this Universal Law.

If you have ever heard about, watched or read “The Secret”, you will know exactly what I’m talking about. Harnessing the power of your mind to create what you desire in your life.

My questions is, if we know that our minds are the creating force behind what experiences come our way, why on earth would we create a life where we need to hustle for it? Why would we purposely set out an intention to have to hustle for all the good things in life?

Wouldn’t it be much more fun to align with yourself, your purpose and the things you believe in? To set the intention that you step into those aligned opportunities with flow and ease? That way you can get on with doing the thing you’re here to do, rather than grinding for that opportunity in the first place.

This does perplex me!… Or is hustling the “in thing” at the moment #hustle #onthegrind. Is it simply a buzz word?

Maybe I’m just not part of the cool crowd.

Maybe the people preaching the hustler’s lifestyle, don’t really understand the definition of the word. Well here it is:

Granted one of the definitions is “a state of great activity”… but that’s the noun. What they’re talking about is the verb – as I tell my children- the doing word! They’re hustling hence meaning push roughly or jostle.

I know you’re probably thinking, it’s just word semantics and I would agree if I didn’t realise the power of our words and our thoughts in relation to the Law of Attraction.

You see, in the Law of Attraction, the Universe* gives you what you want, what you ask for and what you believe. It’s a neutral player in the game of your life. It’s your choice what you get. The saying “Ask, and you shall receive” comes to mind.

* I use the word Universe, please feel free to replace that word with Source, God or a God that fits within your belief system.

If you’re there listening to people you aspire to and they’re promoting a life of hustle, it’s logical for you to think “I want a life like that, therefore I must hustle”.

It encourages you to think about hustling, to verbalise that you’re hustling and soon enough you believe you need to hustle to have the life you want.

Meanwhile, the Universe is listening and with so much focus on hustling, the clear indication is, that’s what you want. A life of Hustling. And so it shall be.

On the flip-side, with an aligned life you could have the same opportunities, the same experiences and the same life; minus all the struggle. Plus, there’s a bonus that you’ll receive all the help assistance and support along the way because it’s a life aligned with your skills, purpose and your authentic self.

It’ll kind of feel like floating in a river with the river carrying you calmly and easily along your life with its current. You’re aligned with the river and “going with the flow”.

An important thing to know is, the Universe is abundant and abundantly supplies us all with these aligned opportunities, if that’s what we ask for, think about and believe. We have the power to create the world we live in and the Universe will provide exactly what we ask for… So be specific!

If you ask to live a life of “hustle” or “hustling”, the universe will give you an abundant amount of opportunities that you must hustle for. There will be an endless supply of things to do to keep you busy or forcefully working for.

With an aligned life you can receive the same abundance of opportunities but the opportunities flow to you easily and seemingly with grace.

If you want hustle and to be hustling in your life, by all means, hustle away.

For me, I choose one that provides an amazing life and opportunities effortlessly. One that enables me to complete projects, reach goals and serve you in a way that aligns with my purpose of empowering others. I choose to live an aligned life that energises and fulfills me daily.

Which one do you want to choose. The choice really is yours!!

  1. Love this Louise, I’ve never been a fun of the hustle. It just sounds like hard work and effort. Whilst I think hard work certainly plays its part, I think when you align you find that lightness and in flow feeling that just seems easier x

    1. Yes absolutely! Living a life that is aligned with your soul mission or life purpose is not an easy one. Because it’s so close to our hearts and so important, it can be the thing that makes us more vulnerable than we’ve ever been. But that’s where the magic is. That’s where I choose to live. What about you?

  2. I’m impressed, I need to say. Actually not often do I encounter a weblog that’s each educative and entertaining, and let me inform you, you have got hit the nail on the head. Your thought is outstanding; the problem is something that not sufficient persons are speaking intelligently about. I am very pleased that I stumbled throughout this in my seek for one thing relating to this.
